HOW PAINTBALL PARKS HAVE RESPONDED TO COVID-19

Above and beyond the standard safety guidelines and intensive cleaning/sanitizing processes parks have been doing for decades, Paintball Parks have also recently implemented new guidelines around social distancing procedures to help keep both the participants and the staff healthy and safe. Safety is the top priority when you visit a paintball park.

Paintball can be a messy game from all of the paint splats. To combat that mess, PLAY SAFE Paintball Operators have adopted a higher standard of cleaning and disinfecting all of the rental equipment and facilities for years. On top of industry safety standards, they are implementing new measures around both guest and associates health and safety, and working with state and local health officials to ensure they are following reopening guidelines.

Below are some of the precautions to help prevent the spread of illness and keep everyone safe.

COVID-19 SAFETY RESPONSE

Non-Contact

Unlike other sports activities, paintball does not have any person to person contact. Players shoot paintballs at the opposition to keep them away.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Implementing new procedures and guidelines to maintain social distances in parking lots, staging areas, registration lines, and other areas players may normally cluster.

CAPACITY LIMITS

Adhering to the local recommendations and standards in regards to facility capacity limits.

SANITIZATION

Increased frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all rental equipment, checkin stations, staging areas, queue lines, restrooms, and employee break areas.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS

Utilizing online reservations and digital waivers, PLAY SAFE parks and facilities are able to reduce the normal check-in clusters and minimize high traffic touch points.

SPACED STAGING AREAS

PLAY SAFE parks and facilities either space out their tables 12' apart to provide plenty of social distance or they are simply blocking off select tables that can be rotated for future use.

KEEPING THE STAFF SAFE

PERSONAL PROTECTION

In certain areas of the parks, where necessary, staff members will wear protective face covers for their own personal safety as well as yours. Gloves may be provided for those handling air tanks and equipment.

REDESIGNED TOUCHPOINTS

They have redesigned the registration experience with both visitors and staff safety as the main goal. Adding modified safety structures near staff/customer interaction points is one example of the steps to create additional distance and safety.

STAFF SYMPTOMS

Any staff member with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (including, but not limited to, fever, cough, or difficulty breathing) will be advised to stay home or will be sent home.

GUEST SAFETY HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE TOP PRIORITY

PLAY SAFE Paintball Operators have always provided world class safety for decades. That safety includes enforcing all the standard safety guidelines as well as the cleaning and disinfecting of rental equipment. Over the years, they have seen multiple outbreaks, such as Bird Flu and H1N1 or swine flu, and the parks always adapt and improve safety measures to keep the guests safe during such times.

We hope that these measures we listed give you confidence that PLAY SAFE Paintball Operators are taking the necessary precautions in this current evolving situation. They remain committed to providing you and your family with friendly, clean, fast, and safe service.

PLAY SAFE Paintball Operators will monitor CDC-recommended guidelines, along with taking additional safety precautions throughout your paintball experience.
